Larry Grochowski

Larry Grochowski, a.k.a “The Governor,” has been entertaining Chicagoland for years on Chicago’s Favorite Improv Sketch Comedy Television Show, The Gentleman Grochowski Show, starring The TVHAMS Comedy Troupe, which he also founded.

After graduating from Columbia College and The School of Hard Knocks The Governor was an on air personality at WXAV FM radio where he was also The Voice of Cougar Football as the Play-By-Play man. He also performed Play-By-Play for The Moraine Valley College’s Basketball Team and High School Football For Cable Television in the South Suburbs.

After he won awards for his journalism and spent time covering High School Sports for local news papers. The Governor also was a Cameraman for Chicago’s Broadcasting Icon Pat Benkowski and the long running Sports Spotlight Television Show covering sports legions like Michael Jordan, Sammy Sosa and Frank Thomas.

He found the time to graduate, not once but twice from Chicago’s Famous Second City training academy under two different identities, but wasn’t funny enough under his name or his allis “Rich Estates” to continue into the Conservatory Program.
